Boot

One of a pair of boots made from animal hide. The tall upper is made from a single piece of tanned hide sewn up the back. The seam is ornamented with a single line of white beads over roughly 4/5 of its length. The front of the boot is adorned with a vertical, beaded strip that reaches from the top of the boot to the ankle. The design along the strip is of diamonds contained within a rectangular border in multicolored beads. The beaded strip forms an open triangle where it meets a second beaded strip that is sewn around the ankle. The strip around the ankle is of three horizontal bands of small rectangles in multicolored beads. The sole is sewn on separately.
