Description | Bucchero “meat tray,” a common inclusion in focolare sets. One side is flat, the other slightly convex. The tray is rectangular, but with two cut-out semicircles on either end. The flat side has two grooved lines on either end, as well as a small hole on each side between the semicircle cut-outs. The tray is cracked, and a piece of one end is missing. The convex side is somewhat encrusted, while the better-preserved flat side is a darker, shiny black, and shows signs of burnishing. Note: it has a blue and white sticker with wavy lines, with the number “10” written on it. |
