Description | Straight blade with splotchy irregular watery markings (pamor). Ring (mendak) with beaded bands top and bottom, decoration of tiny beading in between. Cup (selut) has large repousse (?) floral design. Hilt is of polished, medium brown wood, carved as demon (raksasa) with long hair and curly bangs, kneeling with left hand on knee. Style of carving possibly West Java (Cirebon?). |
