Description | Colorful wooden Kachina identified as Kuwan Heheya figure painted with neon orange, yellow, red, teal, white, black details stands and holds a gardening hoe with cloud decoration in the proper left hand. The figure wears a green yarn ruff collar around its neck and a carved kilt and rain sash with long fring at proper right side. The top of the head is adorned with dark brown fur with wisps of red feathers in the middle and the edge encircled by white cotton. There are feathers attached to the back of the head. The figure also wears felt and yarn adornments on its arms. |
