Description | The object is identified as a Hopi Mana or Maiden. The Kachina of carved painted wood wears a helmet style mask with hair worls, beard, and a white feather tied at forehead. She wears a black manta style dress, white woven sash belt, a white fabric shoulder blanket with black and red fabric borders. The figure has pink string tied around both wrists and white moccasin boots. Paint colors: white, black, red, yellow, green, turquoise, brown. |
