Description | The Object is identified as a Hopi Comanche dancer. The object is a painted wooden carved figure with carved feather head ornaments, and holding a bow and two arrows. Painted colors are red, blue, yellow, turquoise, black, white, green, red/brown. Both feet are attached to the round wooden base. The underside of the base reads: Eloy Wytewa Bacavi, Arizona and in pencil: Comanche |
