Description | The object is identified as a Zuni Medicine Man. The Kachina is made of carved painted wood. The figure has brown and white hair (gray) with two white underbody or "breath" feathers tied at the top of the head. The proper right (PR) hand holds a long white feather. Bottom of the foot (PR)- a bow and arrow and some other marks in pencil. PL- In pencil Zuni Medicine Man / Comes After Salako. Paint colors: white, black, gray, red, brown, yellow |
