| Description | Parchment prayer book in a leather carrying case. Carrying case had over the shoulder leather strap and detachable cover which slips over the top of the case. The prayer book is in very good condition. The two wooden coves are covered with red incised leather. The inside front page has painted miniature of Christ and three angels. rest of book is red and black script with occasional painted borders; Book Title Unknown; Amharic; Pages: 151 folios or 302 pages, single column, 22 lines per page; red and black ink. |
