Description | With transition to plain cloth with weft interlocked at joining. Tapestry woven cloth with a transition to a plain weave in an area of tan. There is a seam attaching to pieces of similar cloth. Both cloths have areas of tan plain weave. Both cloths have red backgrounds with design bands alternating between scrolls, and pairs of stepped interlocking birds (?). One cloth has what appear to be zoomorphic patterns at one end. Both clothes have a bound edge in alternating colors of red, blue, and yellow. Color(s): Red, yellow, white, green, blue, green/brown. |
