Description | White cotton with red bands at both ends. Brocading in purple and pink silk, animal figures, stained. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 72 epi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 34 ppi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplemental weft - two faced. 2 panels - 3 selvedges each. Made on a backstrap loom." |
