Description | Similar to 69-15-19. Made of knotted cord with cowrie shells sewn over facial area, on small back panel, rosette over each ear area, and outlining base of "crest". Braided red and yellow dyed cord form flattened spirals on top of crest, streamers down sides and back. Crest is vegetable fibre stretched over coil-work attached with red cotton thread. Small modern gold-finished rosette at base of crest back. |
