Description | A large lamp in pale grey-white clay. Exterior is monochrome, painted black/grey-brown. Mended from numerous sherds, the bottom in particular has suffered damage, and the handle, a vertical strap, has been broke off. The lamp has a large fill hole (ca. 1.6 cm in diameter) set into a concave circle. This circular zone is surrounded by 6-8 rows of raised dimples. On either side of the lamp there is a wedge shaped projection. |
