Description

Hair band. "Txah b'al" motif. Red ground with green, yellow, blue, purple, pink, black, orange and white geometric forms. Two tasseled fringes. Aniline dyes used.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 58 epi, two ply, red cotton. Two strands, two ply, white, blue, yellow and green cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, two strands, two ply, red cotton. Supplementary weft is double faced. Warp faced plain weave. Woven on a backstrap loom."
