Description | Flat circular base with ridge. Straight sides flaring out to carination then rounded in to neck. Groove at neck-pot joint. Neck bulges out then narrows just below outflaring lip. 2 handles attached to neck and shoulder of pot. 2 legs with feet, one with foot broken off extend from neck to pot. Opposite these 2 arms come out of neck. Elbows rest on shoulder of pot, hands support human (?) head protruding from neck. Hands may be holding food at mouth. Reddish clay, medium texture. Shell (?) impurities. |
