Description | Wooden box to hold metal scales and weights. Exterior is painted black with primarily floral designs on all sides. The top has a border around all four sides with what is likely Arabic writing. A metal hook and loop closure sticks through the top of the box. The bottom has a large sticker attached with text printed. The interior of the box has floral designs painted on the underside of the lid. The base of the box has cutouts where the scales, weights and tweezers fit. Used for weighing precious stones. |
