Description | Gear to accompany blowgun 87-8-62. Covered bamboo dart container (pasoyo), with darts, dart shafts (mata nsopu), pith plugs (kanumbar), poison (impo). Open sago bark dart container (betaki), with darts. Basket (tiakas) containing fluffy wadding (waru). Arrows are tipped with poison in advance, plugs are cut and stuck on ends of shafts. Dart is inserted in back of blowgun, followed by a piece of wadding. Aim is taken, a sharp puff of air blown. Bamboo quiver, bark quiver, basket with cuscus skin lid, all on braided peel belt. |
