Description | Made by Nampeyo. Pottery; flattened shoulder; "seed jar"' red slip on red; roughly polished; fire smudges; black and white painted designs of conventionalized bird motifs and geometric elements; a black and a white line encircles it below shoulder; two large semi-circular designs above on opposite sides containing triangular stepped elements with fine lines in central rectangles; other pair of designs differ, filling smaller rectangular area above shoulder. |
