Description | Red and white plain weave cotton used in two of the three breadths of material used in garment. Central panel is red cloth with three groups of orange and green pin stripes. Square neck opening. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp central panel: 54 epi, two singles, Z twist, red and green cotton and one single, Z twist, yellow cotton. Weft central panel: 30 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Central panel warp is predominantly plain weave. Warp side panels: 68 epi, two singles, Z twist, white red and green cotton. Weft side panels: 38 ppi, one single, Z twist, white cotton and two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Side panel warp is predominantly plain weave. Three panels, four selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
