Description | A section of a large tree trunk hollowed out at one end. It is used buried halfway underground and should have a grinder. It is used in conjunction with a foot operated rice pounder pole (82-7-287B) which has various pestles (82-7-287C,G,H). The pole is foot operated and swings between two large carved tree trunk parts (82-7-287D,E) that brings the pestle down onto the rice inside the mortar. |
