Description | Egyptian Blue (blue frit): dark blue granular lump. Contains: silica, copper, iron, aluminum (small), calcium, Magnesium (small) and possibly small amount of carbonate. Egyptian blue (blue frit) a synthetic copper silicate, containing the 8 other metals mentioned above probably as silicates, though the iron could be present as oxide and the calcium and magnesium possibly at least partly as carbonate.
