Description

Sommerville: Antique paste intaglio. A young victorious warrior, hanging his bow on the column of victory; Hercules and Minerva assist at this ceremony. Antique Pastes, Case UUU.

Vermeule: Sardonyx. Paste: ring stone. Intaglio. Graeco-Roman.

Number does not correspond with Sommerville. Apollo in long dress walking right, singing to accompaniment of his cithera.
