Description | CBS Register: Seal cylinder. Onyx. PBS XIV: Contest with wild animals. A winged figure with a flounced shawl girded about attacks a gazelle. There are a second symmetrical figure attacking a gazelle, a third gazelle on the reverse, and four fishes around the fighters. Cyl. seal. White and brown chalcedony, 14 x 8 ½ mm. Nippur, 1894, hill X, grave 53. |
