Description | War club with an animal hair tassel and a stone head. The head is wrapped with two strips of hide which also loosely attach the head to the shaft. The club shaft is wrapped with hide and the upper portion is coiled with metal wire. The lower end is wrapped with red cloth and has long strands of red flannel hanging. An additional piece of red flannel is tied to a twisted cord attached just above the red cloth at the lower end. A section of animal hair is braided and dyed green at the very end of the club. |
