Description | Rim and wall fragment of wide, open bowl. Interior: covered with black glaze. with three widely spaced bands of purple each bordered by white lines. Exterior: two zones of figure decoration: above, lion? lacking head and forepart; below, forepart of one, hindquarters of another deer. Between zones, two bands of black with a central band of alternate cross and square. At bottom, below glazed band, ray pattern. |
