Description | A crossbow with a cross-shaped frame with a trigger part-way up the handle and a cord strung along the crosspiece. There is moderate decoration. About four years old (when it was acquired in 1981). It was made by a Mr. Buali (บัวลี). It is used for hunting porcupine (เม่น) and barking deer (อีเก้ง). An arrow can be poisoned with poison obtained from the upas tree (ยางน่อง). It is used with arrows (82-7-273A,B,C). |
