Description | Conical rhyton with high handle and clay rivet at juncture of handle and rim; flat rim; clay groove 1.5 cm. below rim; vertical paring marks on lower part of body. Fine, pink (7.5YR 8/4) clay with decoration in dark reddish brown to black paint and added white paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Inside of mouth painted; rim painted; series of friezes: joined running spirals; foliate band; joined running spirals; probably others, no longer preserved; handle painted. Added white: dots on rim; tiny dots on spirals and centers of spirals; traces elsewhere. Restored from fragments; some sherds missing; surface eroded. Comments: LM I. From B 11. See 670 [MS4124].
