Description

Fine, loosely woven cotton muslin turban tie-dyed with a wrap-resist technique called lahariya. The lahariya technique is performed by rangaris (professional dyers). Checkered pattern is called mothara. Sheer cotton. Tie dye. Red with narrow slanting, stripes of white, green, yellow and blue. Pulled in the dyeing.
