Pottery. Flat base; side slightly convex, flaring. Painted with two condor figures; details typical of the Tiahuanaco style. see 26806

Bowl with a flaring body, no neck/collar, rounded rim, no handles, and a flat base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel is painted with two bird or griffin figures in Tihuanaco/Huari style on the exterior of the body. The figures and the geometric designs in between them are painted in white, black, red, purple, and green?. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the bottom of the base and black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2115."
