Description | Cf. 29-89-208. The doubled string of the wrapping which forms a double spiral with the turns crossed does not extend beyond the shaft; two pieces of cord are lashed against the wrapping which is smeared in some places with gum. A plaited ring (cf. Biro, pl. XVIII, fig. 13) surrounds the point near the shaft. Shaft markings: On each internode behind the lashing, parallel longitudinal strokes. |
