Description | The embroidered section of a tunic, similar to 43-12-114, cut out, the edge finished with a footing of thin silk, and the shoulder slit extended and held open by four satin bands. Dark blue silk embroidered in yellow, brown, deep rose, green, blue, white and gray. The yoke in a pattern of small squares enclosing tiny mirrors. Outside of this is an embroidered, stylized floral pattern in the same colors, enclosing larger mirrors, and including couched-on embroidery. Narrow band around back of neck, and collar of conventionalized floral pattern with mirrors and couched-on embroidery. Wide band, in three sections, of geometric patterns on sleeves. |
