There are 5 distinct sections to this piece, all hemmed together. Function is not clear. Two large plain weave cotton pieces (with striped borders) are joined together by a center looser weave section. Along the edges of the striped sections are added strings and handles (in a knit-like structure). One additional string is noted and attached on one side of one the plain weave sections. Color(s): Main two sections are an off-white (dark beige), but edging along these sections are striped in dark brown, red, blue and yellow. The middle looser weave section is a rose and beige colored repetitive design (in a brick-like pattern). Also, one section that was joined to just one side has a repetitive "little men" design. .
