Description | Clothing panel, possibly from jacket. Indigo cotton and silk thread. Panel consisting of embroidered, woven and appliqued sections stitched together into a large T-shaped textile. Some of the weaving done in supplementary warp technique. Back is lined with indigo cotton. Variety of stitching techniques. Brightly colored, rich in red and purple. Extremely fine workmanship. |
