Description

Rather hard medium brown wood. Broadest at top, squared, and slightly curved; becomes round and tapers to a blunt point at bottom. Bust carved in full relief about a quarter from the top. Typical Solomon face with shell inlay in eyes and ear plugs; shoulders taper into shaft. There are six evenly spaced bands cut shell inlay over the upper half of stick. On figure's chest is a short vertical row of cut shell ending in a shell heart. On each side of top is a short vertical row of cut shell. Lower part broken off. Was mended once.
