Description | Flag with the Vermillion Bird of the South, one of the five cosmological directions. The bird (which on this flag resembles a kingfisher) is red and has a talisman (dao fu 道符) next to it. Red silk ground with a bird flying to the left surrounded by multi-colored clouds. Characters on one side. Bordered on three sides by blue silk, wide cut fringe. Three sets of leather ties along side. |
