| Description | Black-on-Red bowl; Incomplete; fragmentary; portions of one handle missing; rim chipped; body cracked (in firing); surface pocked, worn and flaking. Ring base; nearly hemispherical body; rounded rim; 2 horizontal handles on body. Interior: band encircling rim; traces of encircling bands lower on interior wall. Exterior: traces of paint on underside of base; traces of encircling bands just above base; encircling lines and bands at mid-body; encircling incised lines just below rim perhaps originally painted; handles ppainted. |
