Description | Sago extracting tool. Haft lashe to a round hardwood blade with cane preventer between blade and haft. Blade is hollowed by burning, thus making a circular cutting edge; nowadays an iron pipe is hammered onto a wooden handle to serve as a blade. Not intended to be well made; often must be repaired during an extraction session. |
