Description | Woman's belt. Red, white and black stripes. Brocaded design at one end in multicolor cotton and silk thread. Designs of geometrics, humanoids and animal forms. Ends fringed. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 168 epi, two ply, red, white and navy cotton. Weft: 10 ppi, multistrand, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
