Description | From Poncho, Brown and white tapestry band with crossed overlay stitch. In each brown space two picks of red in "turkish towel" technique. Fringe made from twisted brown weft into which yellow threads are looped and bound with blue to form a tassel. Long narrow fragment of a tapestry band/border with fringe. There is a join about 1/6 of the way in from the end where two fragments overlap. There is a crossed overlay on the white tapestry band. Color(s): White, yellow, red, brown and blue. |
