Description

Nearly complete and mended. High foot with elementary stem. Clay:gritty gray-brown; well smoothed. Paint: charcoal black. Paint inside and on rim, at base of neck; outlined wide band below handles, paint on foot; handles barred. A: on neck single outlined vertical zones of latticed lozenges left-center-right; crossed by (but dividing) same horizontal. On shoulder 3 single-outlined latticed triangle and one of the same subdivided. B: neck like Side A except: left vertical zone double-outlined; center vertical zone consists of cross-hatch; right horizontal zone consists of dotted lozenges; shoulder, 4 single-outlined latticed triangles.
