Description

Circular lid of a fish trap. Basket itself has a small neck and big body; base is square. At the top opening there is a stick that can be removed. Uniform style of weaving, except for immediately before the middle where the basket size begins to change and the weave is not as tight. At the bottom on the side is a small opening and attached inside with string are very small pieces of wood. Staked in deep and flowing water with the hole away from flow. Bran used as bait during September and October.
