Description

Plain piece of bark cloth, with branch-holes. Catalogued as first stage in preparation [of] (masi) [bark cloth] used as "turban" by men. According to Rod Ewins, not a turban at any stage, but possibly stage one in the production of a felted piece, the stage at which mending of branch holes occurs.
