Description | Pedestal bowl (高杯). Flat shallow dish with sides slanting outwards. Tall hollow pedestal, narrow at top and widening towards base. Vertical slits in both sides of pedestal and incised bands. Bottom of bowl has raised ridge with incised impressions. Sue-ware (須恵器) with coarse clay. Side chipped, two pieces are 13243b and 13243c. |
