Description | Inverted echinus foot. Shallow bowl. Rim thick, overhanging slightly on interior. Unglazed: resting surface and center of underside; reserved thick line just below rim on exterior. Glazed circle and dot on center of underside. Band of purple around inner edge of lip. Restored from fragments. Part of rim and wall missing and restored in plaster. Excellent black glaze. |
