Mountain sheep horn. Tip of handle broken. Animal (seal?) engraved and gouged on outside section of handle. Below that a face and border. Mrs. Metcalfe claims it was a very old potlatch spoon but it shows no present signs of use in grease. See letter of Mrs. Metcalfe in American Section files.
