Description | black, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture (chert or volcanic origin). Lanceolate in shape. Base straight and perpendicular to longitudinal axis. Small flakes driven off base parallel to longitudinal axis. Edges of tang element are straight and contract towards base. Flake scars parallel to one another and diagonal to edges, forming median ridge. Broken obliquely to longitudinal axis on tang element. |
