| Description | Plaid sarong with figures (tembe paleka-salunka). Predyed synthetic (nggoli). Machine sewn. Made in 1980 or 1981, Ese Wawo hamlet. Dark red, with allover pattern of yellow and white butterflies. Panel defined by yellow zig-zags (nagi), with a vertical stripe of yellow and white "H"s down center. Yellow border stripes. |
