Description | Feathered textile with mosaic pattern woven on a cotton cloth. Plain weave cotton with paired warps and single wefts (Chimu weave). Yarns are S-spun with 60 paired warps/inch and 20 wefts/inch. Selvedge on the left side. The bottom edge may be naturally frayed while the other two edges were cut at some point. Blue feather ground with a band of blue and yellow scrolls along one edge. Feathers from Blue-and-yellow Macaw. |
