Description | Old type. Soft-soled, one piece (except for ankle band), side seam. BUffalo skin. Towe and heel have reinforcement pieces sewn on. (Had wornthrough soles). Extra narrow piece of skin and red flannel strip along side seam. Wide red flannel strip hangs from ankle seam. Rectangular toungue. Vamp solidly beaded: blue and red lazy-stitch border. Remainder mostly spot-stitch, white background with 3 green triangles, yellow band toward ankle with 3 green 's. -b has large hole in ankle band. Sinew thread used throughout except for one recent mend. |
