Description

Covered thickly with loose strips of raphia palm leaflets. The covering is a protection from rain and also serves to conceal what is carried in the net. The Poro Society min =[spirit, really a wooden trumpet] is said to be carried sometimes in a bag like this, to hide it from the eyes of the uninitiated.
