Description | Intact. Tall alabastron with rounded bottom. Body decorated with two friezes, bordered by triple bands. Purple between glaze. In lower frieze two panthers facing each other at front. Bird behind under handle. In upper frieze two birds facing ech other. Filling ornament of incised rosettes. Below neck, tongue pattern. Upper face of rim banded. Traces of incision and of added purple. Por careless drawing. Buff clay. Slightly metallic brownish glaze, badly peeled. |
